Naban is a style of wrestling from Myanmar. Related to Tibetan, Mongolian and Cambodian grappling arts, naban was originally based on Indian wrestling. It became popular in rural areas where it was often performed at festivals alongside lethwei matches. Naban is most commonly practiced by the tribal peoples of Myanmar. The Chin, Kachin, Arakan and Karen have a reputation for their skilled wrestlers.

Techniques include joint locks, strikes to pressure points, and chokeholds. Any part of the opponent's body is a legal target.
